Afellay and Engelaar called up to Holland squad

Bert van Marwijk has announced his squad for the friendly international matches against Italy in Pescara on Saturday, November 14, and Paraguay four days later. The Holland coach has included the PSV players Ibrahim Afellay and Orlando Engelaar in his 23-man squad.

Pieters called up to Holland U-21 squad
Erik Pieters has been called up to the Holland U-21 squad for two forthcoming friendly matches. Holland U-21 first play Liechtenstein at De Vliert Stadium in Den Bosch on Friday, November 13, with a 19.30 kick off, before taking on Spain at Het Kasteel in Rotterdam four days later, on Tuesday, November 17, with a 19.00 kick off. Stef Nijland has been placed on the standby-list.
