A long day in Cluj-Napoca
16 december 2009 13:00
The PSV squad will enjoy a fairly long day in wintry circumstances in Cluj-Napoca before they take on CFR Cluj in their final Europa League Group K game tonight at 22.05 local time. The freezing cold temperatures in Cluj will last all day and it is snowing in the Romanian university town.

Late kick-off
While the travelling party of sponsors and business partners took a walk around town this morning and played a fun football quiz, the players and technical staff are at the hotel, ahead of tonight’s late kick off. Winter has set in but the snow in the streets of Cluj-Napoca - 350,000 inhabitants among whom a large student population - creates a wonderful spectacle. The team will return to their hotel after midnight and will fly back to Eindhoven tomorrow morning. Some 70 diehard PSV fans will attend tonight’s game.
